If you're new 'round here, my co-hosts Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, and Corinna from For My Love Of and I, invite you to play along with our fun hashtag party on Instagram. The rules are simple: snap a pic of your thrifted treasure and throw the #thriftscorethursday hashtag so our hosts, followers, and amazing TST community can marvel at your goodies.
Occasionally, we're blessed to have a few of our favorite hashtag blogger friends guest hosting alongside us. This week, please give a warm welcome back to Nicole from Design It Vintage! This lady is the QUEEN of finding the best chairs ever!
In honor of earth day yesterday, Erin from Vintage Design shared this perfectly fitting shot (which would perfectly double as a great art piece):
Did you get green and shop at a Thrift Store? I know I did!!
Let’s kick this party off with my find:
Had this pair of tribal princess paintings been in an obtainable price range (cough $45 EACH cough) they may have made their way into my cart. Believe me when I tell you their colors were even more vibrant in person.
And now for the dreamy features from our #thriftscorethursday Instagram crowd:
Brownie Cameras have a special place in my heart. One day I will lay eyes on one and I may not even bat an eye at the price.
How whimsical is Maggie's Doria Chandelier?!
And lastly, I just can't get over Kara's bold Kelly green table makeover. The gold accent is perfect.
Well that’s all for week 61, my dearies! We thoroughly enjoy scrolling through your entries every week and hope to see your thrifted treasures. It’s pretty easy to play along:
- Snap a photo of something that catches your eye or you
decided to splurge on from anyplace secondhand (Craigslist, Thrift Stores,
Auctions, Garage Sales, etc).
- Share your photo with the hashtag #thriftscorethursday on Instagram (if your profile is public) and/or Twitter, any day of the week!
Have you snagged any goodies lately?

Remember...

i love your new art! i wanted one like it that was an indian princess but it was like $125 so i couldn't do it.
ReplyDeleteSo fun Trisha! I'm always lamenting the high price of thrifted art... I get it, I do, but in my mind it should be cheaper! :D
ReplyDeleteI love all of your features! And I feel your pain on the paintings...I found some really small wall art - a sixties set of paintings, or mass-marketed repros, one of which was a copy of the sofa art that has been hanging above my grandparents' sofa my entire life. One of the paintings still had the paper backing, info sticker, and such, and the people at the thrift store pushed through it to hang it up. The other one no longer had the backing or anything, but they wanted $6.99 each for them. I just couldn't bring myself to pay that, even though they may have been worth every penny.
ReplyDeleteAs for shopping, I *ALWAYS* hit the thrift stores. Just wish I was more motivated to finish all the projects I bring home!
Awe thanks girl! Yeah $6.99 is over my price limit too especially if they destroyed a piece of it. One day we will all have clean houses, delicious meals on the table and all those items crossed off the list. Cheah accomplished by no one ever.
DeleteLove that chandelier! I look forward to thrift score Thursday each week.
ReplyDeleteI want that chandelier
