This week I’m going to try something a little different and begin with my find:

This passed weekend, I popped into a glorious estate sale that had more teapots throughout the house than I have seen in my entire life. The most unique piece I spotted was a Chili Pepper Sombrero Teapot like this.

Anyway, I spied this Vintage 1950's Tin Litho Marx Ranch Dollhouse casually laid out on a full-sized bed in one of the rooms. It sprawled out large enough that it could leave little room on a twin bed. After a little googling, I found out this beauty is a .

Even though it was a 50% off day, it was out of my reach at close to $100, far above the current value. Plus add the fact that I have no room for it and no children to enjoy, I had to leave it behind. That didn't keep me from moving around some of the furniture for this shot while I waited for my dad to purchase his VHS tapes.

Features
In all honesty, I really struggled picking just features this week… trust me when I say that you’re going to want to get those little clicker fingers over there and check out all the spectacular submissions (simply click here)!! Without further ado, my fav features this week:

I can't even.

The sofa is just so darn pretty. I cannot stop looking at it. Sad day for Debra as the piece was out of the thrifty price range. I would have had a hard time letting it go...

Another masterpiece, this Moroccan lantern could bring any room from drab to fab!

One of the lovely sisters behind sisterswhat, snapped a photo of this lovely camera bag. They sweetly asked what they should use it for, to which I think it could be just about anything-- a purse, maybe for storage. What would you do with a schmancy leather bag like this??

P.S. their feed is FULL of wonderfully styled photos totally worthy of a follow.

And finally, Jessie shared this little diamond in the rough. I'm sure a little leg scrubbing and some new fabric will resurrect this 'ol gem. I can totally see some blue Ikat fabric, here's to hoping Jesse will show us the updated look!

  1. I would have liked to have seen that doll house in person. I hope that someone bought it!

  3. I have such a soft spot for dollhouses! Despite the fact that I don't have any children, I would have been very tempted by it, although not at that price point. Those mid-century tin dollhouses can get pretty pricey - alas, the estate sale folks obviously knew their business!

  4. When I first read the title, I thought it said "vintage MEDICAL dollhouse" which sounded kinda fun/kinda creepy :). Great features this week!

  5. That sofa is retro fabulousness! can't said I'd expect you to take the doll house home. How crazy that they wanted more than you could buy another. Silly!
