If you're new 'round these bits, my co-hosts Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, and Corinna from For My Love Of and I, invite you to play along with our fun hashtag party on Instagram. The rules are simple: snap a pic of your thrifted treasure and throw the #thriftscorethursday hashtag so our hosts, followers, and amazing TST community can marvel at your goodies.
Occasionally, we're blessed to have a few of our favorite hashtag blogger friends guest hosting alongside us. This week, please give a warm welcome to Jess from Bright Green Door!
Let’s kick this party off with my find:
This little pineapple wall hook caught the corner of my eye as I was just about to go empty handed on a quickie thrifting haul. At $1.36 how could you resist?
I'm thinking about replacing the old wall hook with this little brassy find. You may have to use your imagination as I failed to snap a shot of the old one but it's to the left of our entryway door.
And now for the dreamy features from our #thriftscorethursday Instagram crowd:
White sofa, oh how I'd love to scoop you up. But then there's this totally-rational fear of messy eating habits ruining it in 2.0 seconds.
Isn't Coco's large first aid box just wonderful?!
I haven't showed you guys yet but I actually inherited a pretty killer vintage first aid box back when I was a lifeguard. This little cutie from CoCo has me itching to dig it up and show it off.
Last but certainly not least, Kim shares this perfectly gorgeous Mid-Century Modern desk lamp. Ever since we saw the "New Episodes" banner on Netflix for Madmen, besides a serious binge watching sesh, I've been on another kick of Mid-Century Treasures. Heck who am I kidding, I hope this 'trend' never ends. Gosh, if I could hold an estate sale and start over with mid-century goodies I totally would. (did I say Mid-Century enough?!)
Well that’s all for week 57, my dearies! We thoroughly enjoy scrolling through your entries every week and hope to see your thrifted treasures. It’s pretty easy to play along:
- Snap a photo of something that catches your eye or you
decided to splurge on from anyplace secondhand (Craigslist, Thrift Stores,
Auctions, Garage Sales, etc).
- Share your photo with the hashtag #thriftscorethursday on Instagram (if your profile is public) and/or Twitter, any day of the week!
Are you still into Mid-Century pieces?

Fun features this week! I love your pineapple hook. My grandmother had a pineapple themed kitchen in the 80's that I still love to this day.

DeleteYou are so sweet to feature my first aid box! Thank you so much. I was making my last rounds through the store when it caught my eye. It's beat up for sure and has an interesting chemical smell ha ha. I'm really hoping the baking soda will do the trick. Hope you have an awesome day and thank you again, Coco
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about vinegar as well. Hope you're able to lift those scary smells out of there!
