7 #thriftscorethursday Vintage Master Products Three Hole Punch

My goodness, every week I seem to turn a new shade of green with envy. After scrolling through all the #thritscorethursday crazy-beautiful entries, it has taken all of me not to reach through the screen and steal all those glorious treasures.

I'm also excited to see that our one year anniversary Paypal Thrift Shopping Spree giveaway has brought out some new thrifters, and thrifters that we haven't seen in a while. We chose a winner by using random.org and the winner is Jennifer of fleamarketfab with this glorious entry! Please help us congratulate her!

If you're new 'round here, Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, and Corinna from For My Love Of,  invite you to hang out with us on Instagram. Each week we're blessed to have a few of our favorite hashtag blogger friends guest hosting along side us.

The rules are simple: snap a pic of your thrifted treasure and throw the #thriftscorethursday hashtag so our hosts, followers, and amazing TST community can marvel at your goodies.
We shall begin with the features:

Maria from AtomicView shares this stunning White Vintage Brownie Kodak Camera. Swoon.

Does it come to any surprise that there's another vintage camera featured here on Black and White Obsession? Probably not. Annnd get ready because there's another beauty submitted last week as well:

Instagram User: Sharbearrrhauls shared her glorious Kodak Duaflex, and I couldn't be more envious. I have yet to come across a camera from the 50's worthy of scooping up (well with the exception of last week's video camera).

Sharbearrrhauls also happened to submit this Vintage Fan:

I'd love to go thrift shopping with her. If it's not too creepy and all.

To close off the features this week, the final choice is none other than Coco from The Crowned Goat. This girl has mad skills, and one of them is finding really cool pieces. Gah what I'd give to have an Art Easel. Someday.

Ready for my find this week?
I found and passed on this little vintage cutie while out shopping for #swapitlikeitshot. If you haven't heard of this fun hashtag/swap/bloghop you can check out all the hullabaloo over on Charlotte from Ciburbanity and Jessica from Gourley Girl and Guy.

This cutie is a vintage Master Products Three Hole Punch listed at $4.99 in my area Goodwill. According to Etsy (my quick stop for vintage research) the value of this beauty ranges from $10- $48. I probably could have re-sold it for a profit, but of course, I'm not in these hunts for the value- rather if I like it enough I'll scoop it up for my own use.

Of course whilte thrifting, there's this nagging voice in my head that frowns upon duplicates and overly hoarding things that don't have a right-now purpose. Sure dreams of the perfect vintage/craty/modern craft rooms have been floating around ever since we purchased our home, but in all reality its a pipe dream still a couple years away. So since I already have a three hole punch (just a boring standard office one) which hardly gets any use, this one sadly had to fall on the wayside.

Well that’s all for week 50, my friends! I always look forward to scrolling through your entries every week! If you want to play along its as simple as:
  1. Snapping a photo of something that catches your eye or you decided to splurge on from anyplace secondhand (Craigslist, Thrift Stores, Auctions, Garage Sales, Flea Markets, Swap Meets, etc).
  2. Share your photo with the hashtag #thriftscorethursday on Instagram (if your profile is public) and/or Twitter, any day of the week!
*You could be featured next Thursday as your hosts Brynne, Cassie, Corinna, and I (+a surprise guest host) dish out our favorite scores every week.

What thrifty finds have you purchased or passed on lately? Have you been able to transform the pieces into something entirely different? Do tell!

  2. I totally know what you mean about that annoying voice of reason, lol! I'm trying to be much more responsible lately about what I bring home!

  3. You are so sweet to feature the easel! It was really hard to put in the booth and use it for displays. I secretly hope it never sells :) I love this series! Hugs, CoCo

  4. High five for having the ability to talk yourself out of a purchase. You rock. If you already had a functioning one anyways... it would have been a little silly to buy another.
