If you're new 'round here, Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, and Corinna from For My Love Of, invite you to hang out with us on Instagram. Each week we're blessed to have a few of our favorite hashtag blogger friends guest hosting along side us. This week, please give a warm welcome back to Ashley from Bigger than the three of us, last time she shared a wonderful stack of wooden bowls!
The rules are simple: snap a pic of your thrifted treasure and throw the #thriftscorethursday hashtag so we can all marvel at your goodies.
We shall begin with the features:
Candy scored this glorious Nate Berkus Geometric Lamp. And I hate her. No, no I don't. She just knows what's on my Birthday list this year.
Sandra shares this darling Opal ring. She found out Opal has magical powers which boosts creativity and imagination. Um, if it were mine, I'd proudly wear it every day.
I just HAD to feature Nicki's marble elephant for the simple fact that my pops' had a pair like this growing up. The second one was black marble with slight streaks of white. Maybe it's where my obsession came from...
And we'll close this post off with my finds:
Taking another trip down memory lane, my pops' had a set of these Vintage Soup Crocks growing up. His set was a bit different in that they were just the bowls without handle, lid or that lip (closer to these). I have fond memories of his famous (NOODLE) chili on cold winter afternoons.
In fact, just this winter I started a new tradition. A new tradition that involves me batting my eyes sweetly talking him into making me a giant pot of chili so I can freeze it and enjoy through the winter season. Best.Dad.Ever.
These bad boys were actually purchased in my early twenties at Goodwill for under $5 for the set before I moved away to California. Thankfully, they made it through the move there and back without any dings.
I love these things.
Well that’s all for week 48, my dearies! We thoroughly enjoy scrolling through your entries every week and hope to see your thrifted treasures. It’s pretty easy to play along:
