11 #thriftscorethursday Yellow Planters

40 weeks. 40 weeks of this #thriftscorethursday madness. A LOT has happened in 40 weeks.

We went from three hosts, to two for many weeks. Brynne and I and all you lovelies out there bonded over the thrill of the hunt. Then we did a call for guest hosts (which is still available, see the bottom of the post). Then finally, we added Cassie as a permanent host and just last week, Corinna was the latest to join our cast of thrifters. We've reached over 1,200 hashtagged thrift scores over on Instagram and couldn't be more proud.

We are so absolutely thrilled for each and every one of you and your killer finds. Like Brynne said here "I wish the technology existed to teleport #thriftscorethursday finds." But then we'd be a super-mega hoarders.

#thriftscorethursday Week 40 | Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Brynne's from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, and Guest Poster: Morgan from Charleston Crafted

If you're new 'round here, Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, and Corinna from For My Love Of,  along with our surprise guest poster: Morgan from Charleston Crafted, invite you to hang out with us on Instagram. Simply snap a pic of your thrifted treasure and throw the #thriftscorethursday hashtag so we can all marvel at your goodies.
We shall begin with the features:

You may be wondering what exactly this photo captured, and I'm here to tell you it's a light fixture. A gorgeous one. One that looks like it belongs in the geometric hall of fame. I bet you won't believe what it looked like before. So you better hop on over to Ashley's site to check out not only the before's but the FULL glorious after's.

I'll admit, I'm beyond jealous of Shannon's vintage metal canisters. Not only are they dreamy but the price was such a steal at $1.50. I've been hunting for canisters since forever. Maybe I'll get lucky one of these days. Oh and she scored another canister set a few days earlier.

Last but certainly not least. this mirror. It has left me speechless.

Almost, let's close this post off with my finds:
These glorious planters were $1.00 each at Goodwill but sadly they weren't quite big enough for our growing house plants.

If there's one thing we got going for us, its healthy houseplants. Each plant seems to outgrow their home in 6 months or less. We've got aloe plants reproducing so quickly we've had to start giving them away. And we wouldn't have it any other way.

Well that’s all for week 40, my dearies! We thoroughly enjoy scrolling through your entries every week and hope to see your thrifted treasures. It’s pretty easy to play along:
  1. Snap a photo of something that catches your eye or you decided to splurge on from anyplace secondhand (Craigslist, Thrift Stores, Auctions etc).
  2.  Share your photo with the hashtag #thriftscorethursday on Instagram (if your profile is public) and/or Twitter, any day of the week!
*You could be featured next Thursday as your hosts Brynne, Cassie, and I (+a surprise guest host) dish out our favorite scores every week.

Do you have plants that are taking over your living room?

Happy thrifting my loves!
